The Régi Posta Inn is an ideal starting point for exploring Debrecen, as it is located in the heart of the city centre, just 1 minute from the Piac Street promenade, behind the Csonka Church.

In the vicinity you can find many sights of Debrecen, such as the Great Church, Déri Museum, Csokonai Theatre, and several shopping malls.

The Great Forest, Aquaticum Mediterranean Pleasure Baths and Thermal Baths, and the stadium can be reached by direct tram from the stop 1 minute from the restaurant.

Since its renovation in 2020, the Régi Posta Restaurant and Inn has welcomed guests with 16 air-conditioned rooms, offering cozy accommodation for up to 38 people. Within the walls of our historic building, you'll find 13 double rooms, 2 triple rooms, and 1 family suite – the latter proudly named the “Swedish Royal Suite.” Of course, we also offer a fully accessible room for guests with reduced mobility.

In 2025, we took our hospitality to the next level: our inn expanded with 14 additional twin rooms, bringing the total to 30 rooms and 68 beds – all with the same quality and comfort.

Whether you're here to relax or on a business trip, you'll feel right at home – in the heart of the city, yet in a peaceful atmosphere.

The rooms are furnished in the historic style of the 18th century with a modern 21st century touch, making it unique in Hungary.
